Emily is a freelance textile designer based in Denver, Colorado. She specializes in creating colorful and trend-right all over prints and graphics for apparel, home goods and stationery. She has a BFA in Graphic Design and Fibers from Savannah College of Art and Design, and has worked as a textile designer for 11 years.
Emily’s clients and coworkers find her to be efficient, reliable, open to feedback, creative, and collaborative. She loves that textile design allows her to blend physical processes (drawing by hand, painting, dyeing, experimenting with materials) with digital drawing and editing in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. She is capable of working in a wide range of styles, but has a soft spot for conversational prints in bright colors and with a little touch of humor. Her years of experience in the industry are invaluable when it comes to identifying trends and interpreting them for a brand, working with different methods of print production, and helping to troubleshoot any production issues.
Emily lives in Denver with her husband, 2 kiddos, and sweet Bassador. She loves to get outside, and enjoys anything that involves baking or crafting.
